ABOUT US
In August of 2006 Stephanie A. Prendergast, MPT and Elizabeth H. Rummer, MSPT formed the Pelvic Health and Rehabilitation Center. Their vision is to work with a multidisciplinary team to treat men and women suffering from pelvic pain and to optimize pelvic health for pre- and postpartum women. Within their network of urologists, gynecologists, pain management physicians, physiatrists, psychologists and other physical therapists patients will receive a comprehensive and holistic treatment plan. This team approach successfully eliminates pelvic pain and restores physical and emotional health.
The physical therapist's at the Pelvic Health and Rehabilitation Center are extremely dedicated to the profession and their patients. They pledge to continue to educate the community and increase public and professional awareness of pelvic pain and dysfunction. They are committed to increase their knowledge and physical therapy skills in order to offer the highest quality of care to their patients.

Stephanie A. Prendergast (MSPT) received her Master's in physical therapy at the Medical College of Pennsylvania and Hahnemann University in Philadelphia. She learned about myofascial pelvic pain, became intrigued, and choose to dedicate her career to helping men and women suffering from these syndromes. She is committed to advancing the field through teaching, research and clinical practice. Stephanie enjoys yoga, traveling, scuba-diving and brings King Charles Cavalier Abbie Prendergast to work with her everyday. |

Elizabeth H. Rummer (MSPT) received her Master’s in Physical Therapy at the University of Miami Medical School. She is a Pennsylvania native, but soon became a San Francisco convert after moving to The City 9 years ago. Liz strives to improve the treatment for those suffering from pelvic pain syndromes as well as improve community and professional awareness of pelvic pain and dysfunction. Elizabeth enjoys traveling, reading, and wine. She and her husband, Russell, are proud parents of their English Mastiff, Zeke. |

Elizabeth Miracle (MSPT) MSPT was raised in east Texas and received her Master’s in Physical Therapy from Texas Woman's University School of Physical Therapy. Over the past four years the great bay area weather has drawn her to cycling and running for fun and competition. Yoga has also found its way into her personal life and her work as a physical therapist. She is steadfast in her quest to educate the general public about the delicate topic of pelvic floor dysfunction in order for both men and women to understand that they can begin to live, play and work without embarrassment or pain. |

Jill Kaufman earned her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Oregon with a major in Psychology. Born and raised in Portland, Oregon, she made the move to the Bay Area eight years ago to enjoy sunnier weather. Before working as an office manager for physical therapy offices, Jill spent many years as an early childhood educator. When she is not at PHRC, Jill likes traveling to warmer climates and spending time with her husband and their 3 cats: Jorge, Jeena and Jack. |

Tanya Goodrich (DPT) received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from UCSF/SFSU and her Bachelor's degree in Dance from the California Institute of the Arts in Los Angeles. She is dedicated to treating pelvic pain and dysfunction and improving the quality of life for her patients. She is also an advocate for this under-served population and plays an active role in increasing awareness of pelvic floor disorders. Tanya enjoys dance, playing soccer and cooking with her husband. |
