In today’s blog post we wanted to turn the spotlight on The Pelvic Messenger, a blog talk radio show that for the past few years has been tackling many of the tough issues surrounding pelvic pain.
The bimonthly show is devoted to improving patient and healthcare providers’ knowledge of pelvic pain.
The Pelvic Messenger was founded by Elisabeth Oas, a pelvic pain patient who has worked tirelessly to spread awareness about pelvic pain. Today, along with Elisabeth, the International Pelvic Pain Society is helping to produce the Pelvic Messenger.
Stephanie is excited to be among the team of hosts for the show along with Alexandra Milspaw, PhD, Amy Stein, DPT, Riva Preil, DPT, Elizabeth Oas and Michelle Waterstreet.
Tune in next Wednesday, June 18th when world renowned sex therapist, Gina Ogden, PhD, will discuss her approach to treating women healing from trauma and pain. For more information on Gina, visit www.isisnetwork.org. And stay tuned for Stephanie’s upcoming show, which will be a question and answer segment on pelvic floor physical therapy!
Lastly, we thought a great way to introduce you to the show would be to make a list of some of our favorite past episodes. Check out our list below:
